2 ‘JMB’ men held in Narayanganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) captured two suspected members of banned militant group Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from a madrasa in Fatullah of Narayanganj early today.

The arrestees are–Mehedi Hasan alias Murad, 24, of Bandar upazila and Md Amanullah, 33, of Kawkhali upazila in Pirojpur district.

Md Alep Uddin, additional superintendent of Police and also the media officer of Rab-11, said:” Tipped-off, a Rab team conducted a drive inside a madrasa in Fatullah when the JMB members were holding a secret meeting. They picked up Mehedi and Amanullah from the spot
