26 more virus deaths, 1,488 cases reported in one day

Bangladesh on Tuesday reported 26 more deaths and 1,488 fresh cases from novel coronavirus.
Now, the death toll stands at 5,219 while the cases at 3,62,043.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the matter through a press release signed by Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of DGHS, on Tuesday.
Of the dead patients, 21 were male and five were female.
The Health authorities also informed that of the infected, 1,625 patients recovered from the virus infection in last 24 hours.
Total number of recovery is now stands at 2,73,698.
