3 dead in shooting at Kurdish community centre in Paris: prosecutor

The shooting which occured today at a Kurdish community centre in Paris killed three people, the Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau said, adding that the suspected attacker was known to authorities.

She added that authorities would examine any possible racist element behind the shooting.

A 69-year old man has been arrested in connection with the incident, the prosecutor’s office said earlier today.

French authorities consider the incident to be over, the prosecution office added.
