Arjun Kapoor, who recently tested positive for COVID-19, is being taken care of by his sister Anshula, revealed their father Boney Kapoor. Mr Kapoor took to his Twitter account and said that he was “very proud” of his daughter for simultaneously managing work and family responsibilities.

His post read, “Very Proud of my daughter Anshula who in these difficult times has taken care of Arjun during his quarantine, managing the house and also her social welfare platform Fankind.”

Arjun, 35, shared the news of his coronavirus diagnosis on September 6. In a statement released on social media, he informed that he was asymptomatic and was advised by doctors and authorities to quarantine at home.

“It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I’m feeling ok and I’m asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities and will be under home quarantine. I thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you all updated about my health in the days to come. These are extraordinary and unprecedented times and I have faith that all of humanity will overcome this virus. ..Much love, Arjun,” the actor wrote.

On the work front, Arjun was last seen on the big screen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Panipat, co-starring Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon. The period drama had turned out to be a damp squib at the box office, ending up with lifetime collection of less than Rs 35 crore.

Arjun will be seen next in Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The thriller, co-starring Parineeti Chopra, was set to hit the screens on March 20. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, its release was postponed indefinitely. It is being said that the film would release only in the theatres.
