Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor are likely to be summoned tomorrow by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) over alleged drug case in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the agency after WhatsApp chats claimed that she allegedly procured drugs for SSR. It was later reported that Rhea apparently took names of quite a few celebrities who have also allegedly consumed drugs.

Sara Ali Khana and Shraddha Kapoor, both were Sushant Singh Rajput’s co-stars in two of his last films – Kedarnath and Chhichhore respectively. It’s been alleged that both Sara and Shraddha have consumed drugs with Sushant at his Pawna lake farmhouse. Times Now reports that a set of WhatsApp chats have also been accessed wherein Shraddha has allegedly discussed about drugs with KWAN talent manager Jaya Saha. Jaya, along with Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi are currently being interrogated by the NCB since the last two days and they are expected to be grilled tomorrow as well.

It’s left to see what turn does this case take hereafter and whether Sara and Shraddha will resort to issuing a statement with the help of their lawyers. Times Now suggests that apart from Sara and Shraddha, Rakul Preet Singh too is on the radar and is soon going to be summoned over similar allegations.

Meanwhile, other celebrities whose names have cropped up in the drug allegations include Deepika Padukone. WhatsApp chats dated 2017 have surfaced online which allegedly claim Deepika to have procured drugs from another KWAN manager Karishma.

Dia Mirza’s name too was dragged into this alleged drug case. However, she tweeted an official statement clarifying,  “I would like to strongly refute and categorically deny this news as being false, baseless and with mala fide intentions. Such frivolous reporting has a direct impact on my reputation being besmirched and is causing damage to my career which I have painstakingly built with years of hard work. I have never procured or consumed any narcotics or contraband substances of any form in my life. I intend to pursue the full extent of legal remedies available to me as a law-abiding citizen of India. Thanks to my supporters for standing by me.”
