GBNEWS24 DESK//

In the past few days, actress Sherlyn Chopra has been vocal about the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) investigation of an alleged drug link related to actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The actress, who has been taking to social media to share her point of view, has now slammed those who feel she’s talking about the issue for publicity.

It so happened that the actress shared a video of herself speaking to a news channel. Sharing the same, the actress wrote, “फ्लो में तोड़ा ज़्यादा सच निकल गया!” (Loosely translated to: Spoke a little too much in the flow)

Reacting to her post, one of her fans came to defend her, responding to those who felt she was speaking for publicity. As per the social media user, Sherlyn was able to talk about drugs now as earlier people wouldn’t have believed her. The user also added that this is the right time to speak about it. “The big celebs may not be punished severely but one thing is certain that people will know the truth about bollywood,” read a part of the social media user’s tweet. In another tweet, the said user questioned as to why she will speak for publicity knowing that 80 per cent of the people will be turned against her.

Sherlyn then responded to the tweet, extending her support to the Narcotics Control Bureau for Bollywood’s ‘sanitisation’. “Supporters of Nashedi Gang will never understand why we choose to support Narcotics Control Bureau for the sanitisation of Bollywood and of the nation. ज़िन्दगी से बढ़कर करिअर न कभी था, न कभी रहेगा.. #BoycottBollywoodDruggies,” read the actress’ tweet.
