‘Country marching forward under PM’s leadership’

Terming Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the ‘lighthouse’ of nation’s hope, the Daily Observer Editor Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury has said the country is marching forward under her dynamic and wise leadership.

“We feel proud of having Sheikh Hasina as our leader and the way the country is moving forward under her leadership that also changed people’s fate. Today is her 74th birthday. We wish her long life and sound health,” he said.

The former Media Advisor to the Prime Minister was speaking as the chief guest at a function organized to mark Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 74th birthday at Sector No. 14 in Uttara on Monday morning.

Earlier, the Prime Minister’s birthday cake was cut in presence of the Daily Observer Editor at Sector 14 Welfare Association ground.

At the programme, Dhaka Metropolitan (North) unit Awami League’s former joint general secretary Habib Hasan handed over rickshaws to 14 poor people, one each from 14 wards.
