Bangladesh: 14 more die from COVID-19

Fourteen more people died from novel coronavirus in last 24 hours and 1,586 more positive cases were reported in Bangladesh.

Now, the death tally rose to 5,761 while the infection number to 3,96,413.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the matter through a press release signed by Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General of DGHS, on Friday afternoon.
Some 1,533 more patients were declared free from the virus in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovered number to 3,12,065.

On Thursday, 24 people died from the coronavirus in the country.

Bangladesh reported its first coronavirus cases on March 8 and the first death on March 18.
