Four killed as truck overturns in Cox’s Bazar

At least four people were killed and four others also injured as a truck overturned into a roadside ditch at Ukhiya in Cox’s Bazar on Monday morning.
The deceased are yet to be identified.
Md Khairuzzaman, officer-in-charge (Investigation) of the Ukhia Police Station, has confirmed the news.
“The incident took place around 8:30am when a bamboo-laden truck overturned into a roadside ditch in front of the Balukhali Customs office in Ukhia upazila on Teknaf -Cox’s Bazar road, leaving four people killed on the spot, injuring four others,” said the OC.
The injured are taken to the local health complex, he further said.
