Soha Ali Khan pens an emotional birthday wish for mother Sharmila Tagore

Today (December 8) veteran actress Sharmila Tagore is celebrating her 76th birthday. The ever so gorgeous actress is being showered with love and warm wishes since morning. Sharmila’s family members have taken to social media to wish her on her birthday with throwback photos. Earlier, it was her daughter-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan, who wished her and now, it’s her daughter Soha Ali Khan. Soha took to Instagram to pen an emotional note for Sharmila.

Soha, in her birthday wish, shared that this is the first time in many years that she is not with her mother on her birthday. Last year (2019), the Pataudi family celebrated Sharmila’s birthday in Ranthambore and the photos from the celebration had made waves online. This year, due to the global pandemic, the family couldn’t gather together to celebrate her birthday.

Soha shared an array of throwback photos and penned an emotional wish. The actress penned, “We always managed to spend birthdays together but this year has kept us apart. When we meet and may that be soon, we will celebrate all the moments we have missed and be thankful for all the love we have. Happy birthday Amman! See you soon.”

Earlier today, Kareena also took to Instagram to wish her mother-in-law. The actress shared a throwback black and white photo of Sharmila and wrote, “To one of the most coolest and strongest women I know… happy birthday my beautiful mother-in-law.”
