It’s celebrations galore at the Ambani household this month! Earlier this week, the Ambani family released a statement to announce that Akash Ambani and his wife Shloka Mehta are now proud parents to a little baby boy. The first photos instantly went viral on the web and so did throwback videos from their star-studded wedding festivities. While the happy family celebrates the addition of a little member, today marks Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding anniversary.

Anand proposed to Isha at a temple in Mahabaleshwar during a holiday. Shortly after, the family had taken off to Lake Como for a beautiful engagement ceremony that saw the cream-de-la-cream of Bollywood in attendance. With waterworks in the display, the snaps from this engagement instantly broke the net. Isha donned a beautiful and unconventional Dolce and Gabbana gown for the ceremony.

The family then headed off to Udaipur for the pre-wedding festivities. Isha looked breathtaking in a vibrant pink and silver lehenga by Manish Malhotra. She opted for subtle diamond jewellery and completed the look with blow-dried tresses. The sangeet ceremony also saw performances by Beyonce.

For the wedding ceremony in Mumbai, Isha donned the prettied cream and gold coloured lehenga by Anu Jani Sandeep Khosla. With detailed embellishments and thread-work, Isha completed this look with layered diamond jewellery and a simple maangtikka. For her makeup, the beautiful bride kept it simple with minimal makeup and red lips. Adding a special touch to her look, Isha opted for a red dupatta that was taken from her mother’s wedding saree.

For her reception, Isha got to do something super cool. She got an Italian fashion house, Valentino to design a stunning gold lehenga for her reception. The businesswoman looked nothing less than a diva in this finely embellished gold lehenga and diamond jewellery.

Isha’s bridal trousseau continues to inspire brides all over and we can’t wait to see more of her!
