Bangladesh a land of pious, not fanatics, says PM

Mentioning Bangladesh as a land of communal harmony, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said people of the country are pious not fanatics.

“People of Bangladesh are pious but not fanatic. It is a country of religious harmony. People from all classes including Muslim, Hindu, Buddah, Christan sacrificed their lives to get the freedom of country,” said the premier while addressing the nation on Tuesday evening on the occasion of the 50th Victory Day.
