Bollywood actress and politician Urmila Matondkar is currently having a tough time because of constant trolling on her husband Mohsin Akhtar and his family. She termed this situation as unfortunate. And went on to say that some miscreants have vandalised her Wikipedia page by changing the name of her parents.

In an interview, the actress said that she wouldn’t call herself thick-skinned because she believes that sensitivity is one of the biggest strengths of a woman. However, the actress maintained that she has too beautiful a skin to let it be dirtied by this kind of thing. She added that being able to have that compassion, that empathy, and that sensitivity is what makes her a woman.

The actress further mentioned that she was not prepared for the vicious trolling of her husband and his family.

Talking about the same at length, Urmila told Mojo Story, “He was called a terrorist, a Pakistani. I mean, there is a limit to where it should go… They have even infiltrated my Wikipedia page and they have gone and put my mother’s name as Rukhsana Ahmed and my father’s name as Shivinder Singh, two human beings who must be living somewhere in India but I don’t know of. My father’s name is Shrikant Matondkar and my mother’s name is Sunita Matondkar.”

The actress further clarified that her husband is a Kashmiri Muslim. And they both follow their religions in an equally staunch way. According to her, that factor gave trolls a bigger platform to target and attack her husband and his family.
