After getting recovered, Remo was discharged from the hospital on December 18. Recently, Remo, in an interview, has thanked Salman Khan for helping him and his wife Lizelle D’Souza emotionally throughout his hospitalisation.

Earlier, Lizelle has taken to social media to pen an emotional note thanking Salman and has called him an angel and a man with a golden heart. Now, Remo, who shared what happened on the day he suffered a heart attack, revealed that Salman personally interacted with the doctors and made sure that everything was taken care of.

While interacting with Bombay Times, Remo shared that his wife share a good bond with Salman and she was the one to call the actor when he was taken to the hospital. Remo further added, “We call him an angel as he has a heart of gold. I have worked with him and I know the kind of a gem that he is. Salman and I don’t talk much, like, I only say ‘yes, sir, okay sir’. Actually, my wife and Salman are very close. As soon as I was rushed to the hospital, Lizelle called him. And through the six days that I was in the hospital, he saw to it that I was taken good care of. He was also personally talking to the doctors.”
