17 fishermen missing in sea

At least 17 fishermen went missing in Bay as a trawler, carrying them, drowned in the sea amid unfavorable weather.
The incident occurred around 9:00am today near Narikel Bariya area of the sea in Barguna district.
Confirming the information, Barguna Fishing Trawler Labour Union Secretary Dulal Mastar said: “All 17 missing people went to catch fish yesterday night through a fishing boat Tariqul-1. Family members of the missing fishermen are in tension.”
Dulal Master, however, could not ensure identities of the fishermen immediately.
