Whatever Vikas Gupta does, it makes headlines. Vikas is currently seen in Bigg Boss 14 house and has been creating a buzz on social media. In one of the episodes of the show, contestant Aly Goni claimed that Vikas takes away the opportunity from others and give it to his friends and supporters. However, Vikas denied any such allegations and said that they are fake. Post which, rumours started that Vikas also helped his friend and actress Rashami Desai is bagging a role in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 4. Now, the actress has refuted these rumours.

Rashami was a part of Bigg Boss 13 and for the current season, she is supporting Vikas. She is often seen urging fans to vote for him. Post her stint in BB13, Rashami was seen as Shalakha in Naagin 4. However, the show went off-air due to the nationwide lockdown. Earlier, reports had it that as Vikas helped Rashami in getting the role, she has grown fond of him. However, the actress says that it is because Vikas is a friend and nothing else.

While talking to Etimes, Rashami shared, “My landing the role of Shalakha had nothing to do with Vikas Gupta. It was a decision completely taken by the channel and production house. I don’t know from where such rumours have emerged. Vikas is a friend and that’s why I am fond of him and no other reason.”
