Sonam Kapoor is ‘super nervous’ about attending Cannes Film Festival

Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has admitted she is ‘super nervous’ to attend Cannes Film Festival this year as it’s the first year she will be without her sister, Rhea Kapoor.

‘It is the first Cannes that I am going to without my sister,’ Sonam told fans on Instagram. ‘I miss you Rhea, and I am super nervous without you and I love you,’ reports the Metro

Bollywood stars including Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai and Kangana Ranaut have slayed the Cannes red carpet this year and Sonam will join them on Monday night for the premiere of Spike Lee’s BlackKklansmen. Known for her stylist red carpet choices, in the past she has credited her sister Rhea for helping her make her fashion choices.

The actress recently got married to her longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja on 8 May in a traditional Sikh ceremony but instead of a honeymoon she will be arriving in the South of France for the annual festival.

She previously revealed she would be spending time at the festival with Mahira Khan, the first ever Pakistani brand ambassador for make-up giant L’Oreal Paris and the first Pakistani woman to be repping them at Cannes.
