Humayun Kabir Khandaker new EC secretary

The government on Tuesday appointed Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner M Humayun Kabir Khandaker as the Election Commission secretary, replacing Md Alamgir.

Alamgir is set go on post retirement leave on February 3.

Additional Secretary Md Humayun Kabir will replace Humayun Kabir Khandaker as Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner, said the Ministry of Public Administration.

The ministry issued three separate orders in this regard.

Former Technical and Madrassah Education Division Secretary Md Alamgir was appointed as the Election Commission Secretary on May 26, 2019.
