DU Pro-VC tests Covid positive 32 days after taking vaccine

Dhaka University’s Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal has tested positive for coronavirus, 32 days after taking the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
Prof Maksud Kamal confirmed the development to the DU correspondent of the Daily Observer on Tuesday afternoon.
He tested Covid-19 positive on Thursday. Since then, he has been in isolation at his Dhaka University residence on the campus.
Prof Maksud Kamal took the first vaccine jab on February 7, he said.
