A country spending money to launch cyber attack on Bangladesh

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junayed Ahmed Palak has said that a particular country wants to launch cyber attack against Bangladesh.
He said the country is spending money to spread rumour and launch cyber attack in Bangladesh. The government has already received enough evidence in this regard.
The state minister was speaking at a virtual seminar on “Liberation War related Online Contents vs Spreading Rumours” organised by Technology Media Guild, an organisation of IT and telecom reporters, in Dhaka on Sunday.
Omi Rahman Piyal, a researcher on the Liberation War related contents, presented teh keynote paper at the seminar.
The discussion was participated by RAB’s Legal and Media Wing director Lt Col Ashique Billah, BASIS president Syed Almas Kabir, Bangladesh Computer Samity president Shahid-ul-Munir, Asia Pacific Network Information Centre’s executive committee member and Police Chair Sumon Ahmed Sabbir, and Bangladesh Open Source Network’s general secretary Munir Hasan, among others.
