BNP leader Nipun Roy detained

Police have detained BNP Executive Committee member Nipun Roy Chowdhruy from her residence in Dhaka.

BNP standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said Nipun was arrested from her house in Rayerbazar at 3.30pm on Sunday.

“I am now in Jessore. Some girls went to the house and grabbed him and took her down at around 3:30pm.I did not know where she was taken,” added Gayeshwar, also the father-in-law of Nipun.
