Kabori to be laid to rest at Banani Graveyard

Noted actress Sarah Begum Kabori, died at Sheikh Russel Gastroliver Institute and Hospital on Friday night, will be buried at Banani Graveyard after Zuhr prayers.
Her son Shaker Chisty confirmed this on Saturday morning.
He said, “My mother will be taken to our Gulshan residence after concluding some formalities. Then she will be buried at Banani Graveyard in the capital after namaj-e-janaza and guard of hounour.”
The 70-years-old legendary actress breathed her last at Sheikh Russel Gastroliver Institute and Hospital at about 12:20am.
Kabori had been on life support at the ICU of the hospital since April 15. She finally died fighting for her life over the last 13 days.
Earlier, she was admitted to Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital at night on April 5 after she had tested positive for COVID-19.
Sarah Begum Kabori was born in Chattogram on July 19, 1948.
