25 dead as speedboat hit by bulkhead on Padma in Madaripur

At least 25 people were killed as a sand-laden bulkhead hit a speedboat on Padma in Madaripur’s Shibchar upazila this morning.

Several people were still missing after the accident that occurred around 7am, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo quoting Inspector Ashiqur Rahman of Banglabazar Ferry Ghat Traffic Police.
