22 pvt univ students denied bail

A Dhaka court has denied bail to 22 students of private universities, who were arrested earlier, upon completion of their two-day remand.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sattyabrata Shikder today passed the order.

Earlier on Tuesday, a Dhaka court placed the 22 students on a two-day remand in the two separate cases filed for attacking the police and committing subversive activities.

The 22 arrestees are the students of East West University, North South University, Southeast University and Brac University.
