50 injured in Moghbazar blast

At least 50 people have been injured as an explosion was heard in the capital’s Maghbazar area with a loud bang. However, Fire Service has not yet confirmed whether the blast was caused by a car cylinder or the AC of a building.

The incident took place on at 7.30 pm in front of Aarong outlet in Moghbazar Wireless area on Sunday.

Though no casualties have been reported so far, more than 50 people have been injured, according to Fire Service sources.

On information, nine units of Fire Service rushed to the spot and were seen continuing rescue efforts.
