Indian Air Force Chief meets Army Chief

Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria on Monday met Bangladesh Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed at Army Headquarters.

During the meeting, the Bangladesh Army Chief exchanged greetings with the Chief of Indian Air Force, said a press release.

IAF Chief General Shafiuddin congratulated General Shafiuddin on taking over as Bangladesh Army Chief.

 The Chief of Army Staff recalled with gratitude the contribution of the Indian Air Force in the great liberation war of Bangladesh.

A two-member Indian Air Force delegation led by Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar arrived in Dhaka on June 26  on a four-day state visit
