Anyone goes outside without reason will be arrested: DMP

Without emergency, if anyone comes out of his or her respective house during countrywide hard lockdown, will face arrest, DMP police commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam has said.
“Legal Action will be taken against the lockdown violators,” the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner told media at a briefing on Wednesday.
Besides, magistrates will remain on the field. After arrest, the person will be sent to court under section 269.
A maximum six months prison terms or fine will be faced in the case, Md Shafiqul Islam added.
Police will be on tough action this time, warned the DMP boss.
The government has announced a seven-day hard lockdown from tomorrow to contain deadly coronavirus surge.
