Govt provides Tk 4.66 cr as humanitarian assistance

The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief has allocated Taka 4.66 crore and 9,475 metric tonnes of rice to the distressed people to ease their sufferings caused by the ongoing pandemic.

A total of 8,650 metric tonnes of rice and Tk 3.1 crore have been allocated for 64 districts in the country.

The government has also allocated 825 metric tonnes of rice and Tk 1.65 crore for 12 city corporations across the country, reports BSS.
