Shakib enjoys time away as vacation nears its end

Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is enjoying a quiet time off the field as he spends the last of his vacation time with his family. The ace all-rounder’s vacation is set to end as the Bangladesh team gear up for the upcoming home series against New Zealand.

The long days spent in quarantine has become part and parcel of the new normal during the coronavirus pandemic and the Bangladesh players had all been able to enjoy a brief window with their family before returning to another bio-bubble environment. Bangladesh thumped Australia 4-1 in the T20I series in what was their first series win against the men from Down Under. Shakib flew to USA following the series but is expected to return to the country on August 24th as all the cricketers go into hotel quarantine ahead of the series against the Kiwis.

Shakib’s wife Shakib Ummey Al Hasan posted a picture of them together, enjoying a date at the Signature Room Lounge in Chicago. She captioned the picture: “When he asked for a date night and I said yes.”
