Elli AvrRam breaks down as she reveals she completed ad shoot

Swedish Greek-Indian actress Elli Avram broke down in tears while talking about her brother’s brain tumour diagnosis on Maniesh Paul’s podcast. The Malang actress revealed that she was shooting for a commercial with actor Manoj Bajpayee when she received a call from her parents about the shocking news.

On his podcast, Paul shared that there was once a medical emergency back home but Elli still stood by her work commitments.

“In 2019, I had just started the shoot for Malang. I was shooting back to back and one day I was doing this ad with Manoj Bajpayee when I received a call from my parents about my brother. He had collapsed and they had found a brain tumour. It was such a shock,” Avram shared.

Holding back her tears, the actress added that she didn’t want to cry on the sets so she didn’t share the news with anyone, not even her manager. Elli said that she tried to give her best shot despite being ‘a mess mentally’.

“I was completely shocked and I didn’t tell my manager. I was thinking that if I tell anyone I would just break down and ruin the entire shoot, the makeup,” she said.

The Mickey Virus actress said that she finished the shoot and finally got the time to speak to her family. An emotional Elli added that she broke down the minute she got home.

Maniesh shared that Elli’s brother, who’s been in the military for 12 years, is doing fine now and is recovering.

On the work front, Elli Avram has starred in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Mickey Virus and Mohit Suri’s Malang. Elli played the role of Jessie in the film which starred Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu in pivotal roles.

The Bigg Boss 7 fame was also a part of the popular series Inside Edge. She was also seen in Fidaai music video with Aamir Khan.
