Committee members Md. Abdul Aziz, Shabnam Jahan, Lutfun Nesa Khan, Sahadara Mannan and Kaniz Fatema Ahmed participated in the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the greatest father of the Bengali nation of all time, was remembered with deep respect in the month of victory.
It also remembered Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, all the martyrs from the language movement to independence, including two lakh tortured mothers and sisters.
The meeting discussed the activities undertaken by the Ministry to spread the benefits of Digital Bangladesh at the grassroots level.
The committee recommended presenting at the next meeting the activities of the Department of Women’s Affairs called Aparajita and how much has been implemented.
The meeting said that the district-based women’s computer training project is fruitful, timely and there is a huge demand at the field level. As a result, the duration of the project has been extended and it is recommended to formulate a new plan for the project.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Director General of the Department of Women’s Affairs and senior officials of the ministry and parliament secretariat.
