Dhaka roads that will be closed to traffic today

Dhaka Metropolitan Police has restricted traffic movement on Hatirjheel and adjacent areas for seven hours — from 4:00am — today for Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon-2020.

Commuters have been requested to avoid roads in Hatirjheel and take alternative routes during the period. Similar restrictions will be in force on the way from Bangladesh Army Stadium-Kakoli-Gulshan-2-Gulshan-1 to Hatirjheel when the marathon participants will start from the stadium.

However, these roads will reopen soon after the marathon passes through.
