Bachpan Ka Pyaar fame Sahdev Dirdo recovers after road accident

Sahdev Dirdo, a ten-year-old kid from Chhattisgarh’s Naxal-hit Sukma district, became an overnight internet sensation after a video of him singing Bachpan Ka Pyaar went viral on social media. The viral video received millions of views online and even garnered the attention of Bollywood singer-rapper Badshah and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Sahdev was then seen in a music video with Badshah. Recently, the news about Sahdev’s road accident left everyone in shock. Now, in a piece of happy news, the child artist has fully recovered.

Sahdev met with an accident in Sukma a month ago when he was on a motorcycle with his father. The motorcycle had reportedly skidded on the road, leaving Sahdev grievously injured. The young social media sensation was rushed to a hospital in Jagdalpur. He was then shifted to Raipur for further treatment. The ten-year-old artist, who has now recovered from the injuries, shared a health update on his social media.

In a video, Sahdev thanked his well-wishers for all the prayers and wishes and said that he’s now doing fine. “Namaskar main Sahdev. Abhi puri tarah se thik hogaya hu. Aap sabke dua prathna ke liye dhanyavad. Dr aur staff, bohot bohot shukriya, dhanyavad (I am Sahdev and I have now fully recovered. I thank you all, including the doctors and staff, for your prayers and wishes).”

He captioned it: “Words will never be enough. Thank you all for all the prayers and wishes”.

Last month, Badshah had shared the news of Sahdev’s accident. “In touch with Sahdev’s family and friends. He is unconscious, on his way to the hospital. Im there for him. Need your prayers,” the singer had tweeted. He had also said that he would find a good neurosurgeon in Raipur for Dirdo’s treatment. His tweet read, “Sahdev is better now and has regained consciousness. Will go to Raipur to see a good neurosurgeon. Thank you for your prayers .”
