Imraan Khan celebrating his 39th birthday today

The handsome hunk of Bollywood, Imraan Khan, who made a sensational debut with Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na in 2008, is celebrating his 39th birthday today. While the actor has quit acting, his performances in films like Delhi Belly, I Hate Luv Storys, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu have won the hearts of the audience.

While fans of Imraan Khan want him to make a comeback on the silver screen, on his special day, we take you through a throwback interview where he talked about an embarrassing scene with Shruti Haasan while shooting Luck.

Talking to NDTV in 2009 during the promotions of Luck, Imraan shared that working with Shruti Haasan was a great experience as they are childhood friends. He also shared that sometimes the situation gets tricky as it becomes embarrassing to act in front of the person who knows you very well.

The actor then shared an embarrassing moment, which he faced while doing a romantic scene with Shruti. Explaining it, Imraan said, “The first time we had to do a romantic moment, I was like ‘How do I convince her of this!’ She’s known me for 15 years, she’s known my girlfriend for all the years that I’ve been dating her. How am I supposed to sell her that ‘Hey, I’m being romantic.’ I plastered my way through it. I was like to hell with what she thinks. And then you turn on the charm… (give) the look and the eyes.”

For the unversed, Luck was an adaptation of the 2001 Spanish thriller, Intacto. The film was directed by Soham Shah and also featured Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, Danny Denzongpa, Ravi Kishan and Chitrashi Rawat in pivotal roles.
