Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar pre-wedding festivities

After Mouni Roy and Karishma Tanna, Bollywood is gearing up for another big wedding. We are talking about Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding. The duo, who has been dating for over a couple of years, will tie the knot this weekend.

The pre-wedding festivities have already begun as we saw actress Rhea Chakraborty, Amrita Arora arriving at Farhan’s Bandstand residence for the mehendi ceremony. The pics of the Chehre actress entering Akhtar’s residence and later accompanying a few girls at the residence’s balcony have surfaced on the internet. Shibani’s sister and actress-VJ Anusha Dandekar was also snapped entering the residence of the Don 2 helmer. Actress and fashionista Amrita Arora was also captured by the shutterbugs while arriving at Farhan’s house.

It is said apart from Rhea, Monica Dogra, who is also a close friend of Shibani, will attend the mehendi ceremony. It is said that the Sangeet ceremony will happen tomorrow at Farhan’s Khandala bungalow, which will be attended by family members and close friends with Monica and Rhea also gracing the event.

“Farhan and Shibani want to keep it as private as possible. They are not calling too many people. It will just be close friends and family. Shabana and Javed are very happy for Farhan and have given Shibani their blessings,” said a close friend of the couple to India Today.

Reportedly, the preparations of the sangeet ceremony are in full-swing and Shibani’s friends are planning the songs. Apparently, Rhea Chakraborty will perform at the ceremony.

While earlier, it was reported that Farhan and Shibani will tie the knot on February 21, the report of the portal suggests that the duo will get married on February 19 at Khandala in traditional Marathi style.
