After facing multiple delays and obstacles, Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s magnum opus Radhe Shyam hit the screens last Friday and opened to a humongous response at the box office. The period romantic drama turned out to be the biggest Indian opener of 2022 and earned over Rs 119 crore in just two days at the global box office.
While the pan-India biggie is dominating the box office, it has garnered mixed to negative ratings from the reviewers and the director of the movie, Radha Krishna Kumar has taken a subtle dig at them with his latest tweet.
The filmmaker wrote, “Thank u all for the tremendous response. We made the movie with love and your pouring your love back It’s not the reviews it’s the result which matters #BlockBusterRadheShyam #RadheShyam” along with hug and folding hand emojis.

The director shared another tweet along with the poster of Radhe Shyam featuring the box office collections and wrote, “All we need is love to beat the hate #radheshyam.”
Talking about the movie, it also stars Bhagyashree, Jayaram, Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Sathyan and Sasha Chettri in pivotal roles. It is bankrolled under the banner of UV Creations. Prabhas is playing the role of a palmist in the film, which is reportedly made on the budget of Rs 350 crore.
The film faced several delays due to the pandemic crisis of COVID-19. While Amitabh Bachchan has turned narrator for the Hindi version, SS Rajamouli, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shiva Rajkumar have lended their voices for the Telugu, Malalyalam and Kannada versions.
