Mastermind, three others held in AL leader Tipu murder

The alleged mastermind and three others have been arrested by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in connection with the murder of Awami League leader Zahidul Islam Tipu and college girl Samia Afran Preety at Shahjahanpur in the capital.
However, the RAB has declined to divulging their names and addresses.
They were arrested from different places in the capital on Friday night.
RAB’s Legal and Media Wing’s director Commander Khondker Al Moin confirmed it at night.
He said, “Four persons including the mastermind have been arrested by RAB in connection with the murder of Awami League leader Zahidul Islam Tipu and college girl Samia Afran Preety.”
A press conference will be held at the RAB’s Media Centre at Kawran Bazar in the capital on Saturday afternoon, he said.
