US-Bangla flight makes emergency landing at Ctg airport

A domestic flight of US-Bangla Airlines has made an emergency landing at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.

The Cox’s Bazar-bound flight from Dhaka carrying 171 people, including seven crew members, made the emergency landing at 1:45pm as there was no facility of making emergency landing at Cox’s Bazar Airport.

Sarwar E Jahan, manager of the airport, confirmed the news.

The flight BS-141, which took off from the Dhaka airport at 11:30 am, made the emergency landing due to a technical glitch, said Sarwar E Jahan.

Some passengers claimed that at least 10 people received injuries during the incident. However, on official report has been found in this regard.

On March 12, at least 51 people, including 26 Bangladeshi nationals, were killed as a US-Bangla Airlines aircraft crashed and burst into flames at Tribhuvan International Airport in the capital of the Himalayan country of Nepal.
