BGB DG distributes Eid gifts among Sunamganj flood-hit people

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Director General Major General Shakil Ahmed has visited Sunamganj Battalion visited and Dulura BOP on Eid day. Besides, he also distributed Eid gifts and relief items among helpless people in that area.

During the visit, the BGB Director General exchanged Eid greetings with all the BGB members deployed there. He thanked and congratulated the BGB members for discharging their duties efficiently and successfully in the remote border area.

The BGB Director General distributed relief materials and Eid gifts among 500 poor families.

Later, the BGB Director General attended a banquet with all the members at Sunamganj Battalion Headquarters and returned to Dhaka in the afternoon.

During the visit, Additional Director General (Operations and Training) Brigadier General AMM Khairul Kabir, Region Commander of Sarail Region Brigadier General Mohammad Shahidul Islam and Sector Commander of Sylhet Sector Colonel GHM Selim Hasan and Sunamganj Battalion Commander Lt Col Md Mahbubur Rahaman were present at that time.
