Salaar actress Shruti Haasan reveals her inspiration: ‘I loved being that unexpected package’

Actress-singer Shruti Haasan has donned a goth style ever since her debut film Luck in 2009. Her love for black isn’t unknown and her fashion choices have always been individualistic. Talking about the inspiration she got for Gothic Look, Shruti says she is inspired from the music she has grown up listening to, the literature she read, novels, and everything.

Fashion and cinema have often moved together and every few years there is a new trend that grips our minds. The current sensation seems to be the ‘ Goth look’ which is slowing becoming a global trend and is pretty popular among the fashion conscious youth as well.

I love heavy metal. When I was younger, I loved being that unexpected package in all black.”
