Photo and video-sharing social media platform Instagram is enabling users to create uninterrupted Stories up to 60 seconds long, according to a report by TechCrunch.

Instagram users will now be able to publish uninterrupted Stories that won’t be interrupted, and viewers won’t have to keep tapping to watch a lengthy video that they might not want to watch.

Previously, Instagram tested the change with selected users late last year and has now rolled it out to all users worldwide.

The new functionality to the app is likely to be appreciated by users and viewers alike, despite moving away from the popular bite-sized format.
