Election schedule to be announced tomorrow: CEC

The Election Commission (EC) will declare the schedule for the upcoming 11th national election tomorrow, said Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda.

The EC made the announcement while holding a meeting with “Sommilito Jatiya Jote” at commission’s office in Agargaon this morning.

While exchanging views with the leaders of the Sommilito Jatiya Jote, CEC Nurul Huda said: “You all know that we already held meetings with Oikyafront and Juktufront for a participatory, free and fair election. The Election Commission has accomplished preparation for the upcoming election. Hopefully, the election schedule will be announced tomorrow.”

Earlier in the day, leaders of  Jatiya Party led by party Chairman HM Ershad met the Election Commissioners to discuss issues related to the forthcoming election.
