AL’s nomination distribution begins

The ruling party, Awami League (AL), began the distributing its nomination papers for the upcoming general election among the aspirants from 10 am today.

A press release signed by AL Office Secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap has confirmed the news.

According to the press release, the aspirants have to collect the nomination papers from Awami League president’s Dhanmondi political office.

The Election Commission (EC) yesterday set December 23 for the 11th parliamentary election.

The last date of submission of nomination papers is November 19 and the scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on November 22. The deadline for withdrawal of candidature is November 29.
