While Nibir Kumar—the son of noted musician Kumar Bishwajit—is still under observation at the ICU, following the massive accident in Canada, people on social media have been spreading rumours about the tragic incident.

Some netizens had speculated that Nibir did not have the proper documentation required to be driving on the roads of Canada, with some even alleging that Nibir did not even possess a driving licence at all.

Infuriated by the allegations, Kumar Bishwajit’s brother, Avijit Dey took to his social media account to dispel all the rumours. He posted a picture of Nibir’s driving licence, writing that the document was valid and that Nibir was permitted to drive on the road.
