Obaidul Quader admitted to BSMMU

Road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) as he fell sick on Sunday morning, reports UNB.

Obaidul Quader, also general secretary of ruling Bangladesh Awami League, complained of breathing problem after Fazr prayers, said senior public relation officer of roads and highways division of the ministry Abu Naser.

He was taken to the BSMMU.

Quader’s personal secretary Gautam Chandra said the minister was admitted to the CCU of the hospital around 8:30am
