Ears-covered candidates not allowed in exam halls

Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has imposed restrictions to the candidates who are going to sit in recruitment examinations for assistant teacher posts in Government Primary Schools.

Candidates, covering his or her ears, will not be allowed to enter exam hall. Ministry has already given directives to the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) regarding this matter. Now DPE is conveying the directives to the District Primary Education Officers (DPEOs) all over the country.

The ministry took this decision after questions of Primary School Teacher recruitment examinations (1stphase) were reportedly leaked in Satkhira on May 24. It was the first phase of the recruitment examinations.

Beside, ban on covered-ears, the ministry took different technological and strategic steps to stop further question papers leak on next phases.

The second phase of Primary School teacher recruitment examinations will be held on May 31 (Friday). In this phase about 1.4 million candidates will appear in recruitment examinations in 25 districts in the country.
