Salman and Alia Bhatt to romance on beaches of Miami for Inshallah

Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali fans were in for a treat when the hit actor-director duo announced a collaboration after two decades. Like that wasn’t enough, it was soon announced that Alia Bhatt has been roped opposite Salman for the first time and excitement hit the roof. After the magic of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, the filmmaker reunites with megastar Salman Khan after 20 years for this love story and needless to say, expectations are sky-high. Inshallah is also Alia Bhatt’s first movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, making this a truly special film.

While that is that, we also can’t wait to see how SLB brings about the on-screen chemistry and romance between the lead pair. The filmmaker, in fact, is currently hunting for exotic locales to film the same. According to Mumbai Mirror, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is on a three-week recce in the US after which the shooting of the film will commence by August end. A source close to the project was quoted saying, “The prime spots on their wish-list are the streets of Orlando and the beaches of Miami.” The insider also stated that Salman’s character, of a 40-something businessman is based in Orlando, a city in central Florida. “It’s a character that’s young at heart and Salman will sport a stylish look, complete with designer jackets and sunglasses.”

Reportedly, before taking off for Florida, Bhansali and co. visited and zeroed places like Varanasi, Rishikesh and Haridwar. It is being said that Alia who will be seen portraying the role of an aspiring actress in her mid-20s will hail from the native. “Alia’s character is from a place that is situated near the river Ganga, which is why Bhansali is contemplating on these locations,” the source added.

It was earlier suggested that all the factors, including the age gap, have been taken into consideration. The story will justify the teaming up of two actors, from different generations, on a romantic journey which is being touted is a humorous tale of love rooted in the Indian culture.
