All-round Shakib inspires Bangladesh to victory over Afghanistan

Bangladesh beat Afghanistan by 62 runs in a crucial World cup match at the Rose Bowl in Southampton on Monday.

Chasing 263-run target, Afghanistan were all-out for 200 runs.

Shakib Al Hasan made 51 runs with bat and took 5 wickets with the ball. Mustafizur Rahman captured two wickets.

For Afghanistan, Shinwari was unbeaten at 49 runs. Captain Gulbadin Naib made 47 while Rahmat Shah scored 24 runs.

Earlier, Bangladesh made 262 runs for 7 wickets after 50 overs. Musfiqur Rahim played an innings of 83 runs while Shakib Al Hasan scored 51 runs
