Shah Rukh Khan and Netflix unite for Aryan Khan’s directorial debut

Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is set to make his directorial debut with an upcoming Netflix series, expected to stream in 2025. While the title remains under wraps, the series will delve into the film industry, portraying the journey of an ambitious outsider navigating the glamorous yet complex world of Bollywood.

Produced by Gauri Khan, the series marks Netflix’s sixth collaboration with Red Chillies Entertainment, following previous projects such as “Darlings,” “Class of ’83,” and “Bard of Blood”.

Shah Rukh Khan expressed his excitement about the project, saying, “We are thrilled to bring this new series to Netflix — a story with a fresh perspective on the challenges of making it as an outsider in the glamorous cinematic world. Aryan and Red Chillies Entertainment have crafted a unique narrative filled with heart, hustle, and endless entertainment.”

Aryan Khan, 27, is Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest child and has previously ventured into fashion with his luxury streetwear label D’YAVOL X. His sister, Suhana Khan, made her acting debut in the Netflix original “The Archies”, last year.
