ACC starts probe on ex-MP Shahin

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) started an investigation against former lawmaker and Jashore district Awami League General Secretary Shahin Chakladar.

A team from the ACC headquarters visited Jashore on Tuesday night and inspected his house and all of his establishments in the Old Kasba Kathatola area of ​​the town.

This development came after the Jashore AL leader, along with his wife, was summoned by the ACC regarding the allegations against him.

But none of the two appeared before the ACC or responded.

ACC sources said Deputy Director Md Shafiullah and Assistant Director Md Al-Amin, who were in the ACC team, arrived in Jashore in the afternoon.
